  1. Genre Diversity: Accepting scripts across all genres – drama, comedy, thriller, romance, and more.

  2. Script Length: Submissions should be feature-length scripts, with a minimum length of 2 pages and a maximum of 220 pages.

  3. Formatting Guidelines:  Try to follow industry-standard formatting, using 12-point Courier font. PDF format only.

  4. Submission Deadline: Scripts must be submitted by latest - 15.04.2024. Late submissions will not be considered.

  5. Language: Scripts must be submitted in English.

  6. Originality: Submissions must be original works of the entrant, and entrants must have the rights to the submitted material.

  7. Multiple Submissions: Entrants may submit more than one script, but each script requires a separate entry and fee.

  8. Entry Fee: A non-refundable entry fee is applicable for each script submitted.

  9. Feedback Option: Filmmakers can opt for professional feedback at an additional fee. Feedback will be provided after the judging process.

  10. Eligibility: Open to writers of all levels of experience, both nationally and internationally.

  11. Notification: Shortlisted entrants and winners will be notified by emial and listed on our website.

  12. Rights: By submitting, entrants grant Vienna Script Awards the right to use their names and script titles for promotional purposes.
